We are a new company, but we have a lot of experience.

Hi. My name is Linda Wakeley, and I'm the owner of this prestigious affair. When I speak of experience, I mean that I'm a Mom with two beautiful children, and I 've played a LOT of games. My sister Terry, the incredibly talented web-master of this awesome site, remembers me following her around with a pack of cards begging her to play. Cards, board games, dice, checkers, you name it ... I wanted to play it. Still do. Some of my fondest memories of childhood were playing dominoes with my Grandpa, and cards with my parents (and my poor sister, too).

Thankfully my husband, Tim, is a big game fan too. (Although he's more of a chess man.) Anyway, family nights spent playing games, assembling puzzles, and releasing our creative juices through fun art projects have been a part of our family life since our kids were young. It's the perfect time to talk, laugh, and interact with each other. Now, with my children in their teens, family night is even more important. It's our unplugged time to completely reconnect individually and as a family.

So why start Make Family Night Fun.Com? The first reason is obvious ... I now have the perfect reason to buy and try all kinds of games. Ok, so maybe that's reason 17 or 18. The number one reason I started this company is for you and your children. People are so busy these days. Who has time to shop and compare and play all these games to find the best ones for your family? Well, I do, and I take it very seriously. Family Night can be a powerful tool for families to bond and reconnect. And, it's not like you have to work at it ... just relax and play.

How we do business:

Out of the thousands of games, puzzles and activities available, how did we choose what to sell? We do business a little differently from other stores. Each item we sell is carefully handpicked to meet all or most of the following criteria:

Fun – We have a group of families testing for funness. If it's not fun enough, we won't sell it.

Award winning – We looked for award winning products because they've been proven to excel.

Educational – Who doesn't like to learn something through play?

Age appropriate – It's frustrating to children (and adults) to do an activity that is too complicated or hard. Family night is designed to be fun, not frustrating. So we pay special attention to age recommendations.

Easy to learn – only takes a couple minutes to learn the rules, but many of the games take a while to master.

Easy to ship – Most products are light weight. With shipping rates at an all-time high, we took size and weight into consideration.

Time wise – Most games and activities take no more than 20-30 minutes. Our research shows that people prefer to play a shorter game multiple times than to play a longer game once.

Reasonably priced – We don't want you to have to spend a lot to have a successful Family Night.

New - We present you with games and activities you won't find at the big box store. Chances are you already have those games and are looking for something new.

Interactive – Most of our items allow for laughter and conversation. Family night is a great way to get to know each other better.
